Witness JJ, a student at the Technical University in Budapest, made a statement about the events from Monday, 22 October onwards. Witness II, who made a statement the day before, was asked questions relating to the events he witnessed, primarily his arrest and imprisonment. Witness KK, a chauffeur and truck driver, secretary and deputy chairman of a workers' council for the hotel and restaurant workers, made a statement about the election of the council. Witness LL, who worked in a temporary hospital during the revolution, made a statement with regard to rescue work, the transport of Red Cross supplies, and the interference of the Soviet soldiers with ambulance work. Witness MM was captured and taken to a prison in the Soviet Union. At the end of the meeting, the committee discussed if they are supposed to study the living conditions of the Hungarian refugees in the refugee camps.
