​Broadly grouped thematically, most of the photos were made by contracted photographers, while some of the pictures were bought from photo agencies (MTI, Reuters, etc.) Early pictures originate from 1991-1992, however, after 1999 journal editors used digital photos, not paper copies. Some of the photos were used as illustrations in the weekly. The name of the photographer, the date when the picture was taken, the topic or location is sometimes indicated on the back of the photo, sometimes there is no written, usable information at all.
