Scope and content (narrative)

This subfond contains documents on Mihály Csákó's university and postgraduate studies, his coursework, and especially the documents of his study trip to France, which had a decisive influence on his life and professional career. It also contains his doctoral thesis, written jointly with Ilona Liskó, on the basis of the results of the 1973 examination of skilled workers, which could not be submitted for political reasons, and which was eventually defended in 1991, after their rehabilitation.

A separate series contains papers and publications relating to Csákó's membership of academic and public organizations, including documents relating to his participation in national and foreign societies, his editorial activities, and his mentoring activities in the Independent Student Parliament.

Csákó's professional correspondence, scholarship documents, and employment contracts have been arranged in a separate series.

Finally, a distinct series is dedicated to his personal papers, including his childhood writings, poems, drawings and translations, which all bring Mihály Csákó's personality closer to the researcher of his papers.
