The collection contains Demszky's own writings and works, whether printed, published or in manuscript; a fairly comlete series of the most famous Hungarian samizdat periodicals, including Beszélő, Hírmondó, and Független Demokrata; manuscripts of the most important samizdat books and pamphlets published in the 1980s by AB Publisher and others; documents of the Hungarian political opposition during the 1980s; printing sheets and galley proofs, illustrations and cover designs of the Hungarian samizdat publishers; tools, printing machines and raw materials for creating underground publications.
