Scope and content (abstract)

The Lebanon series contains nine tapes (raw footage and documentaries) covering the Lebanese Civil War which took place between 1975 and 1990. The events covered include: the Sabra-Shatila massacre, Beirut under siege in 1982, the situation in Southern Lebanon in the 1990s and instances of the Israeli Army in Lebanon, particularly in Southern Lebanon, as well as marine activities of the Multinational Force in Lebanon in 1983.
