During the 1990s one of András Hegedüs' main preoccupations was the support and promotion of the public education of workers. This part of the Hegedüs papers contains those files that are related to the establishment, the financial and legal organization, and the operation of the Workers' Academy. The documents relating to its closing down can also be found here. The files shed light on the everyday problems of running such a civil organization.
